Both embroidered and woven patches are made from thread, but they look and behave differently.
Embroidered
Embroidered patches use raised satin stitches over a twill base. They look dimensional and classic, and work best for bold shapes and larger lettering.
Woven
Woven patches use much finer dyed thread, so small text and thin lines stay crisp. The surface is flat and smooth.
How to decide
- Need a raised, stitched look? Choose embroidered.
- Need small text or fine detail? Choose woven.
